Cheyenna Layne Weber is a queer, white, and disabled writer and solidarity economy organizer. She grew up in rural West Virginia (Osage, Shawnee, Cherokee, and Adena territory) where economic, ecological, physical, and emotional violence shaped her political and spiritual commitment to utilize love in response to oppression. She is a co-founder of Cooperative Economics Alliance of NYC, SolidarityNYC, and New Economy Coalition, and is an Associate Member of GEO Collective. She currently lives in Brooklyn (Lenni Lenape, Canarsie, Haudenosaunee territory) and consults on disability justice, abolitionist, Indigenous sovereignty, online popular education, and co-op projects in New York City and beyond.
