Join members of the organizing committee for a 600-worker nonprofit to discuss how their campaign utilized technology for better communications and actions with their co-workers throughout 33 different locations in NYC. The workforce at Housing Works is extremely diverse in race, age, demographic, and in job title with retail workers, case managers, medical staff, janitors, warehouse workers, drivers, etc. Find out how COVID-19 has presented new organizing challenges while social distancing and balancing uncertainties during our harsh times in addition to a mutal aide group that workers put together for their co-workers that recently were furloughed.
