Camilla Zhang is a fiction writer and New York City native who is passionate about fostering empathy and equality through storytelling and grassroots activism. Much of her organizing experience comes from being a part of Brooklyn-based housing justice collectives. She is currently Kicstarter's Comics Outreach Lead, helping independent creators put their best foot forward on the crowdfunding platform. She is also a proud union member at Kickstarter United/OPEIU Local 153. Her work has been published by Top Cow and Kickstarted projects like Reading with Pictures and Crossed Genres. She's currently working on a graphic novel and prose fiction.
