Claire Sandberg has been involved in organizing and social movements for two decades. She was deeply involved in the anti-fossil fuel extraction and climate movement prior to joining the Bernie campaign in 2016 as Distributed Organizing Director. She returned to the Bernie campaign in 2020 as National Organizing Director, where she oversaw an integrated national and state by state organizing program. She has also worked for other candidates such as Michigan gubernatorial candidate Abdul El-Sayed, and with left populist parties and organizations in Europe.
