Julia joined CPD shortly after it was founded and has been with the organization through its merger and rapid growth. As Director of Innovations Management, Julia is responsible for creating and managing the systems that comprise CPD’s innovative organizing program that brings individuals into high impact direct action, large marquee campaigns and connects them with affiliates. She is the staff lead for Birddog Nation. Birddog nation is made up of independent activists and groups who make direct requests of candidates and elected officials in-person and in-public. She was previously, Deputy Director of Operations at CPD.

Prior to CPD, Julia worked at various start-ups and non-profits focusing on business operations and event support.

She received her MA in International Affairs from The New School, and her BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.
